How long will my order take?
We normally print and despatch most orders within 24hrs of orders acceptance. If you urgently require an order for the next day – just give us a call and we should be able to print & despatch the same day (Special Delivery) Please note that processing order times may increase during exceptionally busy periods.
What kind of ribbon do we use?
We only use premium quality Satin Double Faced Ribbon and Satin Single Faced Ribbon for the 38mm and 48mm width ribbon.
Which ribbon works best to wrap gift boxes?
All ribbon styles will work well for gift wrapping
Is the ribbon waterproof?
No, this ribbon is not designed for contact with moisture.
Will the ribbon fade?
Our ribbon is not intended for extended use in outdoor elements and may fade over time. Also, some of the inks printed on our ribbons will fade or rub off if handled repeatedly.
How much ribbon is on a roll?
The majority our ribbons are in a 100 metre rolls, We also have some in 25 metre rolls.
How much space is between each repeat of the message?
We leave a 2cm gap between each repeat. If you require a specific measurement between each repeat, then please contact us with your requirements.
Do you offer Plain ribbon?
All our ribbons are available to be purchased as plain ribbon, please have a look in the shop section for plain ribbon category
Can I reuse and retie my ribbon for multiple occasions?
Custom printed ribbon is designed for one-time use only. Retying the ribbon over and over will result in the custom imprint potentially cracking and breaking down.
Can I print anything I want on my ribbon, Do you restrict content?
Ribbon Nation reserves the right to refuse printing of inappropriate or offensive content. The customer assumes full responsibility for all claims arising from alleged infringement of licenses, trademarks or copyrights on any requested design or copy.
Can I print a logo on my ribbon?
Yes! You can upload a .JPG or .PNG (High-Maximum quality) file, preferably in black and white. The file needs be a transparent black and white image of you logo. We can also accept PSD (Photoshop) files. PSD files have to be saved as layers in 300dpi @ 100%).
What file formats are not accepted?
We cannot accept the following file formats: Microsoft Word files, Microsoft PowerPoint files, Microsoft Publisher files
My logo is very detailed. How do I know it will print clearly?
If you have any concerns about your logo printing, please feel free to contact us and we'll be glad to assist you!
Can I use my own font for the printed ribbon?
Yes, you can, Just Email us the font you require
I am not too sure of a colour on your website – can you supply samples?
Yes – We supply free (non-bespoke) samples of up to 4 colours. This service is free, please contact us with you requirements.
Do all ribbon colours and print colours work?
There is a wide choice of print colours, that can be selected, however it is recommended that you choose colours which have good contrasts, so that the text and images stand out and look pleasing. Choosing a dark colour ribbon and a dark print colour will not give you satisfactory results and will be a disappointed when you receive the ribbon. If you are not sure, email us and we will be happy to advise accordingly.
